GENOX Generators use a process called electrolysis to turn brine into NEUTHOX®, a powerful disinfectant. NEUTHOX® effectively controls biofilm and eliminates harmful bacteria like Legionella and Pseudomonas.
These generators are widely used across NHS sites, providing a reliable solution for potable and process water disinfection. Plus, NEUTHOX® is a low-hazard HOCl biocide, making it safe and efficient.
HSG 274 states that “hypochlorous acid (HOCl), the form of chlorine that is most effective as a biocide”.
No taste. No colour.
No impact on pH
Safe alternative to ClO2
Cost effective (from 4 pence per m3 of treated water)
Low hazard
Controls biofilm
Destroys Legionella and Pseudomonas and is effective even at 40-50C
Simple to monitor and dose
Generation is inexpensive and HOCl is stored in a drum
The GENOX Generator merely requires water, GENOX salt and electricity
> 20m3/day up to 400m3/day for large process water applications
The active ingredient in NEUTHOX® is hypochlorous acid (HOCI) which is produced naturally in the human body within white blood cells to fight infection. GENOX Generators produce NEUTHOX on demand, a powerful, proven biocide that controls biofilm and destroys Legionella and Pseudomonas.
