HiPAF-is-specified-for-use-at-New-Hall-Hospital-in-Salisbury

Ramsey Healthcare wanted to identify the best solution to replace the existing sewage treatment plant which was proving inadequate for its needs resulting in substandard final effluent quality.

Challenge

The site needed to improve the quality of effluent but any works would need to be carried out whilst the hospital was operating with minimal disruption.

Solution

The HiPAF (SAF biozone) sewage treatment system was selected because of its low visual impact, ease of maintenance and proven ability to treat wastewater to a consistently high quality.

It was important also that the installation and commissioning of the new system should be undertaken without interruption of the activities of the hospital and with minimum inconvenience to patients and staff. The system was installed by Watling Hope within 3 weeks with no interruption to the operation of the hospital.

Mrs Kim West Services Support Manager said, “It was all on time and on budget with barely noticeable disruption.”
