Ultralox or Ultralox40® is an approved hypochlorous acid (HOCl), the active form of chlorine. Approved for potable water. Approved for process water. Article 95 compliant. Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) approved.
It is ideal for use in water hygiene and pipework treatment applications, where it quickly eradicates Legionella and other microbes. Ultralox is widely used across NHS sites.

HSG 274 states that “hypochlorous acid (HOCl), the form of chlorine that is most effective as a biocide”. Ultralox is effective at breaking down the biofilms which harbour pathogens.
