Wastewater Treatment

Coagulants and Flocculants, odour control, pH correction, inorganic coagulants, specialist products and antifoams for solids removal, water clarification, lime softening, sludge thickening and solids dewatering.

Wastewater Treatment

Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) is a clarifying water treatment process proven to concentrate and remove a wide range of suspended solids in wastewater at a high rate of removal – solids, fats, oils, grease and support water reuse.

Wastewater Treatment

Wastewater to energy through bespoke machines, equipment and processes for mechanical pre-treatment of screenings and sludge in both municipal  and industrial wastewater purification plants.

WCS Group supports you by:

  • Reducing the cost/m3 of your effluent water
  • Significantly reducing sludge generation and volume leaving site
  • Managing associated by-product disposal costs
  • Recovering heat from wastewater
  • Increasing water reuse through water treatment, filtration and disinfection
  • Protecting the environment for future generations

Water reuse, savings and discharge

Water supply and disposal costs are rising. Discharge regulations are increasingly stringent. WCS Group’s Waste Water and Dewatering Team works right across the UK and Ireland providing specialist commercial and industrial water treatment knowhow which enables wastewater to be re-used, reducing discharge and enables a competitive advantage on your site with easily understood return on investment proposals.

Our water division blends its own chemicals and we improve control and efficiency of wastewater from food, diary, oil, textiles, chemical industries, treatment of potable and process water, sewage, effluent, paper processing, emulsion cracking and water recycling.

reuse Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF)

DAF is a clarifying water treatment process for the separation of suspended solids (fats, oils, grease or FOG).

The advantage of DAF systems is their ability to concentrate and remove a wide range of suspended solids in wastewater at a high rate of removal.

This technology is ideally suited to particles that are slow settling, of neutral density or buoyant. It can be used for pre-treatment and equally for the removal of contaminants that would negatively impact an industrial biological wastewater treatment system downstream.

water purification Dewatering Press

The Volute Dewatering Press enables sludge thickening and dewatering in one machine.

It is especially popular in the diary, food manufacture, rendering plant, brewing, distillery and anaerobic digester sectors.

This technology saves on water, power and space and is typically used for industrial sludges, primary and secondary treatment sludges, aerobic and anaerobic bio solids, digestate dewatering and oily sludges. He self-cleaning moving rig mechanism limits clogging.
