Our technical, monitoring, training and compliance teams provide the essential support you need:
Reliable air quality, clean air, air quality monitoring and optimised HVAC systems
We assess, monitor, report and improve indoor air quality and ventilation which reduces the risk of airborne pathogens, contaminants and other environmental hazards.
We work with Site and Contract Managers, HVAC engineers, H&S officers and FMs to test, monitor, recommend, improve and service plant and equipment which controls, manages and maintains indoor air quality and ventilation hygiene – without compromise.
Our air hygiene solutions include performance / energy audits, coil cleaning, filter replacement management and monitoring for industrial manufacturers, major global hotel chains and public buildings.
Compliance
Reduce risk of fire
Reduce environmental footprint
Prevention of ill-health, Sick Building Syndrome and forced absence by building occupants
Manage plant deterioration
Reverse escalating operational costs (energy consumption) and expensive remedial works - ducting, carpeting, ceiling tiles
Workplace Regulations 1992, Regulation 5 (1), 6 (33)
The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (As amended)
Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) COSHH Regulation 9 (2004)
HVCA TR / 19 Internal Guide to Cleanliness of Ventilation Systems

Ventilation systems can be complex and require regular inspection, cleaning, testing and maintenance. We perform surface contaminant monitoring tests – Deposit Thickness Test (DTT) and the Vacuum Test (VT) in accordance with The Heating and Ventilation Contractors Association (HVCA) recommended guidelines. DTT measures the thickness of contaminants on the surface of ductwork while VT weighs contaminants taken from the system. We report on results and help building managers remain safe and compliant.
Air Conditioning and refrigeration systems removing humid and warm air automatically create condensation which can damage equipment and is a major source of nutrients for microbiological growth (bacteria). This can lead to buildings with mould spores and other harmful organic matter both in water and air systems and occupational health risk.
Bacteria can become concentrated and lead to system blockages, reduced cooling effect, increased energy consumption, odour, property damage from condensation, increased maintenance costs.
STAYCLEAN is an impressive solution that minimises damage and bacteria growth in AC and refrigeration systems because it continuously cleans cooling coil and condensate trays for up to 6-months minimising cleaning, labour and system downtime.
STAYCLEAN Coil Treatment contains UV additives – UV light enables us to visibly see the coverage of STAYCLEAN on plant and equipment for enhanced monitoring and analysis.
Standard parameters including comfort factors (assessing ambient temperature range, humidity, airflow), gasses and the build-up of carbon dioxide, contaminants and bacteria are all possible with wireless monitoring providing real-time holistic data and analysis of air quality and building health.
This is essential for human safety, health and on-going compliance.
