To mark Coventry as the UK’s City of Culture, and 100 years of Remembrance, the Royal British Legion (RBL) has worked with WCS Group to create this dedicated webpage to commemorate and remember 100 years of service and sacrifice from the people of Coventry.

The RBL as the nation’s champion of Remembrance is dedicated to honouring the millions of men and women who have served, and who continue to serve, to defend our democratic freedoms and way of life.

  • We remember the sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from Britain and the Commonwealth.
  • We pay tribute to the special contribution of families and of the emergency services.
  • We acknowledge innocent civilians who have lost their lives in conflict and acts of terrorism.

This webpage is intended to remember and honour those who have served and sacrificed to defend our democratic freedoms and way of life and to be a living memorial for the people of Coventry and the surrounding area. So, whether the story you want to share is of someone who came from the area of Coventry or if you are living in the Coventry area and want to share the story of a relative or ancestor who served, then we would like you to share your story.
