Lamella Separator

Ensure even flow distribution with the Lamella Separator

This highly efficient treatment process of the Lamella settlement tanks also known as clarifiers removes up to 95% turbidity, suspended solids, and associated pollutants (subject to application). The hydraulic design ensures even flow distribution over the inclined plates to enhance solids separation.

Discharge occurs through a full-length v-notch channel positioned on either side of the lamella separator. This weir design significantly reduces the velocity of the effluent flow by evenly distributing the flow, especially during low flow conditions resulting in a smaller quantity of suspended solids being transported to the outfall point.

A wide range of applications across a variety of industries

Commercial sewage
Utilities and municipal wastewater
Industrial wastewater and trade effluent
Hire, trial or capital purchase

What are the highlights of our Lamella Separator?

  • Occupies 90% less space than traditional settling equipment
  • No moving parts within the clarifier reducing risk of downtime
  • Supplied as a complete compact unit which can also be linked in series or in parallel
  • Removes up to 95% turbidity, suspended solids and associated pollutants
  • Quick set-up due to pre-configured weirs and fixed pipework
