The Project Engineer supports sales personnel throughout the sales process of equipment projects starting as early as possible during the discovery phase and ending after customer approved commissioning.
The Project Engineer will support senior engineers in case of more complex, or larger projects.
The Project Engineer has an overall responsibility as field engineer for Projects
Scoping, Conceptual Design, Estimating, preparation and completion of internal Quotation documentation.
Project Execution, including Coordination, Installation (M&E), Start Up and Commissioning.
Support existing and new customers with Project management of water treatment equipment on their sites and within the agreed budget, timeline and requirements. Attending client meetings and communicating to the customer at all stages of the process, highlighting any changes to the scope.
Prepare, schedule and supervise customers sites (installation and commissioning) by sub-contractors and internal employees. Capture of success criteria during commissioning, handover and completing all paperwork. Attend Engineering meetings and seek and share learning continuous improvements within the group and assist in ISO audits.
Ensuring compliance with all company Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
What are the requirements? (experience and qualifications)
3 years relevant project management desired or self-sufficient Service work experience in an appropriate Process, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline
Degree, HND or equivalent experience.
Excellent communication skills required
Proven planning, organizational & implementation skills ideally across multiple projects at the same time
Experience in water treatment related projects (essential)
Enhanced DBS certificate (advantageous)
Driving licence and be able to travel and stay over night as and when required.
Attend weekly/ monthly meetings in the head office Daventry, Northamptonshire.
