Legionella Risk Assessor

Location:

Leeds office (LS14 1AB) but requires travel the Midlands, Yorkshire, Humberside, Lancashire regions

We are currently seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor / Consultant ideally with IOSH or City & Guilds qualifications in Risk Assessing who has experience in performing the Assessments to a wide variety of commercial sites.

Requirements:

  • Over two years’ previous experience performing Legionella Risk Assessments
  • Previous experience in the water treatment / hygiene industry
  • An approved and recognised Risk Assessment course / refresher course or had demonstrable internal training
  • You will be highly organised, self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • You will require a full UK driving licence

Outline responsibilities:

  • Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACoP L8
  • Carrying out customer site temperature testing and water sampling
  • Producing schematic drawings and final documents
  • Using templates and producing formal and informal Risk Assessment Reports
  • Assisting reviewing water working procedures and supplies as per ACoP L8
  • Knowledge and understanding of Pre-treatment, Filtration, Chemical Dosing Systems, Electronic Dosing Equipment, Disinfection procedures and control measures, Base Exchange Units, Water Cooling Towers, Softeners (Reverse Osmosis knowledge is not essential but would be advantageous)
